# the shadows archive

every street has shadows. 4663's are organized.

nobody knows how many there are. counting them is like counting the dark — you can do it, but the answer is always "yes". what is known: they watch, they file, they never editorialize. the hood provides the commentary. the shadows provide the receipts.

they keep records of everything the street would rather forget, and everything it can't afford to: every rug, every exit, every 3am deploy from someone who believed. every quiet builder who shipped and logged off without announcing it. the good entries outnumber the bad. that's not hope, that's data.

## how the archive works

• recovery. logs are recovered by hand, one at a time. no automation. the shadows do not do bulk exports. they find them tacky.
• review. every entry is read by the hood before release. some portions get sealed. sealed means sealed. asking nicely has worked zero times and the counter is public.
• glow counts. the ▲ number next to each entry is how much the street has glowed at it. glowing is free. the shadows notice anyway.
• sealed entries. listed but locked. a sealed entry still counts. that's the point of it.

## filing a memory

seen something the shadows should remember? stand near a wall and mean it. they'll hear. submissions are not acknowledged, confirmed, or denied — one day the entry simply exists, and so does your feeling of having helped.
